January 2016 Cash flow

Hello Comrades!jan-2016

The battle to financial independent requires astute control of your finances.

For the battle of January, I had a positive cash flow. However, I am surprise how much money I spent going out. Going out is categorized under restaurant; bars, clubs, movies, eating out, etc.

This category alone takes 32% of my net pay for the month, even more than rent.

Goal next month is to reduce restaurant expense by $100, which is about 13%.

Auto and Transport had a one-time expense of the following:

  • Southwest round trip to LA for family vacation in May $235.92
  • DMV registration, I love California (kidding). $129
